For those who enjoy playing Trivia Crack, join the Learning Center for their seventh annual “Are You Smarter Than a Tutor?” event. The game will be held February 22 6-8 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

This event features many organization from the campus, and it allows teams of students to compete against teams of tutors (four per team). Trivia categories include art, business, culinary, history, math, pop culture, writing, and many more.

There will be tabling around the campus during the weeks leading up to the event for students to sign up for the event, beginning February 1. Each day, February 6 to February 9, there will be tabling in the Student Center from 10 a.m. to noon, and the Dining Center will host tabling February 13-16 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. For those unable to attend those times, students can email the office of the Learning Center with their team name along with the four members, including their email addresses, at thelearningcenter@snhu.edu if spots are still open. The winning team will win $200 in cash, and there will be gift card raffles held throughout the event that the players and audience members will be eligible to win. A noteworthy addition to this event is that there will be a team of professors to compete with the tutor and student teams. This team includes Professor Cox, Professor Hughes, Professor Bouchard and n Professor Viator.

“This event is a great opportunity for students to have fun working together as team members while having fun and challenging our peer educators,” said Evan Bodi, the Marketing and Outreach Graduate Assistant of the Learning Center.
