Here are some upcoming events for seniors to celebrate the last few months of their educational journey.
On March 23, there is a senior-only trip to Boston, Massachusetts to go to Encore casino from 5:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. This includes $20 slot play for those 21+. The tickets will be available February 1 on SNHUTickets.
Following that event, on April 9, there will be a senior cap decorating event in the Makerspace located on the first floor of Shapiro Library from 3:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m.
On April 15 in the ACC, there will be a senior send-off dessert party from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Lastly, the senior trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The trip costs a total of $699, Payments are spread out into four separate payments. The trip will include a three-day park hopper admission for Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. The trip will also include a four night quad-occupancy hotel room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort and a $50 meal card. JetBlue will be the airline for the flight, all ground transportation and luggage fees are included.
The Disney senior trip will take place from April 28 to May 2. Ticket sales closed on January 15. To check for availability you can contact involvement@snhu.edu. There will also be a meeting February 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Walker Auditorium in Robert Frost Hall. All participants are required to attend at least one meeting.
