As we enter December, the holiday season is “officially” upon us. The weather has gotten colder, we can smell snow on the air and everyone is counting down the days until the long-awaited winter break.

Here at the Penmen Press, this season brings traditions that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Our holiday season is about the family we have because of newspaper, and we value having a month where we can really focus on spending that time with one another.

This year, we wanted to give other people the chance to share their stories and traditions with SNHU. One of the things that makes Southern New Hampshire University so special is that we all come with our own experiences, and, though we are different, we join to create a community.

With this in mind, this December, we are launching a storytelling initiative called #CelebrateSNHU to lend our platform to you, the SNHU community.

Each day, we will be posting the holiday stories and traditions of SNHU students, faculty and alumni that show just how special our community is. These stories can be found on all three of our social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram and Facebook) throughout the month of December, and we encourage members of the SNHU Community to participate and share their stories as well by tagging us @PenmenPress and using the hashtag #CelebrateSNHU!

We could not be more excited to share the holiday season with all of you and to share your stories.

Happy holidays from the Penmen Press.
