NYIT Defeats SNHU in Competitive ECC League of Legends Championship

As a result of their win on March 16th against Daemen College, the SNHU League of Legends team earned the participating qualification of the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championship. Introducing SNHU’s League of Legends Team

League of Legends is always the focus in esports. This game has existed for nine years, and in 2018, SNHU officially incorporated a collegiate esports team. SNHU Esports Update

SNHU had is first eSports informational meeting in Walker Auditorium September 5. Around 100 audience members were in attendance. SNHU chose to start promoting eSports this semester. Since SNHU has an exclusive program design, it decided to create an eSports program for students with majors related to gaming such as game art development, which is a good tool for scouting students from other colleges
