On Friday April 10th the Wrestling Federation of America is coming to SNHU! This event was planned and organized by students from Studio and a number of campus clubs.
While the wrestlers provide the muscle, students from graphic design and communications have spent months handling the logistics, promotion, and visual identity of this upcoming show. This project was presented to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world event management, providing valuable experience to students.
The event, titled “Uprising: Unfinished Business,” promises heavy-hitting action with the WFA Heavyweight Championship and the WFA Tag Team Championship. It takes place at the Stan Spirou Field House on April 10th. The doors are set to open at 6:30 P.M. with the first bell ringing at 7:00 P.M.
Being a massive collaborative effort from not only students, but also a number of clubs this event is a true showcase of students’ ability to come together to bring fun to campus. The clubs involved are DECCO & Student Involvement, CAPE, Radio SNHU, Media & Design Club, Campus Recreation, SGA, ant the Sports Management Club.
Admission to this event is completely free for all SNHU students, staff, and faculty. Whether you are a lifelong fan of the “squared circle” or just looking for a unique way to kick off your weekend, this event at the Stan Spirou Field House is a great opportunity for fun.
