Each year, almost exactly around this time of year to be exact, University President Paul LeBlanc announces a new, wild career endeavor for the upcoming year. While his 2017 campaign for president of the United States did not play out as he had hoped, he is not letting this setback keep him from pursuing different dreams.

Paul LeBlanc has announced that he will be pursuing a “more musical” career and will be featured on Fetty Wap’s upcoming 2019 album: “Roll Penmen.”

“It really felt like it was time to diversify my resume and share my secret talents with the world,” said LeBlanc. “Part of being a university president is knowing how to connect with your student population, and after seeing the excitement that came with Fetty Wap’s concert at SNHU, I knew I had to get in on the action.”

Fetty Wap shared the story of their meeting at a meet and greet prior to the event. “He’s got swagger, that Paul LeBlanc,” Wap said. “And so eloquent. I’m excited for what he’s going to bring to this new project.”

LeBlanc and Fetty’s fast friendship led to the creative project known as “Roll Penmen.” LeBlanc describes the style as “catchy with sick beats” and can’t wait until it becomes a standard party jam.

The album will feature tracks such as, “Yes, SNHU Has a Real Campus,” “Blue and Gold,” and of course the titular “Roll Penmen.” As the song titles suggest, this album also represents a creative endeavor to reach potential students through different forms of media.

“We are always looking for new ways to let people know about SNHU, and we realized that our presence was definitely missing in the music scene,” said LeBlanc. As a part of this multiplatform rebranding, President LeBlanc will also be rebranding his own image, with the title Pauly Blanc.

While the 2018 and 2019 fall concerts have yet to be announced, Fetty is hopeful for a return with his new partner to help promote and celebrate the launch of “Roll Penmen.”
