The Southern New Hampshire University Student Government Association (SGA) strives to create community, boost campus pride, listen and act, and provide funding. We are comprised of five executive board members and 25 senators.

Those who are part of the organization went through an elections process in either the spring or fall to obtain their roles. We meet bi-weekly on Tuesdays for Senate meetings, that are open to the public, at 5 p.m. usually hosted in the Penmen Room.

On the Tuesdays we do not hold a Senate meeting, we have internal committee meetings. The committees allow our organization to branch off into different sectors to achieve our goals and promises. Each committee has its own initiative.

We are committed to providing opportunities of community through elections, events, and co-sponsorships.

We are dedicated to increasing the spirits of students with a Penmen Pride point-system that incentives participation in campus activities and events. We are motivated to collecting campus suggestions and directing them to the appropriate offices and departments.

Lastly, we are driven to offer financial support through requests for conferences, capital, additional allocations, and more! We are perfecting the balance of tradition and change.

This year, we are going full force in all directions to represent the best interests of the student body and make this year a legendary one!

Through involvement in ways such as partaking in community service opportunities or having meetings with administration, all members apart of the Student Government Association want to be the voice for others and make a positive difference while attending SNHU.
