Guy Fieri here for a special edition of “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” In the first of my “College Cookin’” series, I’ll be visiting the Munchiez Food Truck at SNHU.

When I heard that SNHU had their own food truck on campus, I was like, “Holy moly, stromboli! I need to get down there!”

If all it took were heart, this truck would win handily. The time and energy the kids put into this big blue beast of truck sure shows.

But does this food truck’s eats earn a parking spot in the famous Flavor Town square?

First, I had to try the classic staple: the chicken tender. With their crispy breading and tasty meat, boy did they love me tender.

I gotta say, “ricotta” try the mac and cheese bites. What’s not to love about deep fried macaroni and cheese? These things are some of the most popular here and there’s a good reason why. They are “grate.”

I had a hunch they’d have a true classic munch: those jalapeño poppers. To my surprise, the crew let me know they didn’t make them anymore. What a bummer!

I had to fight harder than a crawfish on a dinner dish, but I managed to get them to find the very last batch in their freezer from two semesters ago.

Never did I think hot pepper heat and freezer burn would pair so well. They melted the frost right off my frosted tips.

Expect to see this Guy around more often. This tasty truck was enough to make me sign up for classes next semester. This joint is highly recommended.

If there were one thing I’d say to the Munchiez crew, I have two suggestions for ya. One, get on that Donkey Sauce train. It would be a beautiful complement to your already dynamite package. Two, the truck could use some pizzazz. I recommend a racing stripe, in blonde, just like the one I have in my goatee.
