It’s that time of year again when it’s time to celebrate Women’s History Month. Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Deborah L. Coffin Women’s Center has coordinated many events for the month of March with the help of many other clubs on campus. Some of these clubs include but are not limited to Student Activists for Gender Equality (SAGE), Outreach Association, History Club, Diversity Initiatives, the Center for Community Engaged Learning, International Student Association, and Student Government Association. These events are for any students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners to come join in on.

Their biggest planned event was held on Mar. 8 which was International Women’s Day. There were many events held throughout the day.

During the week leading up to the International Women’s Day, the Center for Community Engaged Learning collected many household items to be donated to the International Institute of New Hampshire.

This was the first time that SNHU has created a significant, full day of activities to celebrate the day.
